Are you ready to raise
If you are ready to raise you’ll have traction and the basics covered.
The basics include:
- a pitch-deck (Pitch)
- business plan
- financial model
- effective documents to receive funds and
- a due diligence data room
Who do we help?
Organisations and individuals that are ready to raise. In other words they have the basics and traction
- Projects looking to raise $500,000k or more from a crowd
- Businesses looking for growth capital via Equity Crowd Funding
- Businesses needing a professional campaign, but lacking the skills and / or time to do it themselves
Why Trust Us?
Most people focus on the funding part of crowd funding, instead of crowd part of crowdfunding.
Our philosophy is that campaign management should optimise for the crowd not the cash.
Counter-intuitively when you focus on properly forming a crowd, or developing with your existing crowd, instead of on the cash or transaction, then they – the crowd – will mobilise and raise the funds that they need, in order to do the thing they want.
Most unsuccessful campaigns fail because they don’t get this. Do you get it?
Raising Crowd Finance
We focus exclusively on businesses. Reconomy does not usually work on arts, personal finance or entertainment projects.
Reconomy looks at finance with the crowd in mind first.
This means we can add value to finance raising activities that are underway or that are just starting to be worked on.
Your needs may include rewards crowdfunding where you need seed capital and a crowd to validate product ideas, test your market demand and establish pre-orders.
Your needs could include growth funding. In that case, perhaps equity crowdfunding, where you aim to sell a piece of your business to your crowd in return for investment, may be suitable.
Or it could be that your business needs debt crowdfunding otherwise known as marketplace lending.
Are We A Match?
We are not an Angel investor, VC or philanthropic organisation. It is highly unlikely we directly invest in your business or project*.
Our role is to assist your business raise funds through your crowd – the crowd – peer-networks or markets you establish via campaigns.
There is always a back story when raising finance from the crowd. At Reconomy we need to do to understand the situation before we can be much use and this usually takes the shape of an audit or brief.
If you want us to take up a brief or conduct an audit this can take anywhere from an hour $500 or could take a week to understand i.e $5000.
The initial audit provides you with your own report. It contains our considered opinion on what you might like to / say you want to achieve. How likely we think finance raising is and any recommendations we would make on how to acquire the target funding. You may find this audit useful in and of itself.
Depending on what is suitable for the client we may provide crowdfunding support in the form of pre campaign and campaign management. This might involve a flat fee, percentage of funds raise or per-period billing as agreed.
Again, you may require custom support and this can be arranged when we talk in more detail.
The first step is let’s see if there is a ‘fit’ and we can work together. That starts with booking in a 30-minute slot.
Crowd Funding Campaign Management As A Service
Crowdfunding has 2 feature parts
- Pre-Campaign – Create your pitch, create your crowd through pre-commitments from other networks
- Campaign – Execute your campaign plan. PR, respond to supporters, leverage influence through other networks
Pre-Campaign
Our Campaign Managers adopt your business branding and secure campaign distribution agreements on your behalf. These come together as a Campaign Plan. When the Campaign Manager is confident that there’s a crowd ready to fund something, they move your project to the next stage, the Campaign itself.
Live Campaign
The biggest opportunity and challenge with every crowdfunding campaign is appropriately responding to all your supporters and leveraging their influence within their networks. This creates the virality that every successful campaign needs.
